Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply to everyone who accesses or uses Studuo at studuo.live, including guest visitors and registered users. By using the service you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account or use Studuo. By registering, you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are between 13 and 18, your parent or legal guardian must have agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You must not share your account with others or attempt to access someone else’s account without permission. Notify us immediately at studuo.app@gmail.com if you believe your account has been compromised.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, at our sole discretion and without prior notice where necessary to protect users or the platform.

You agree not to use Studuo to:

• Harass, bully, threaten, or harm other users
• Share illegal content, hate speech, or content that sexualises minors
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems, databases, or other users’ accounts
• Scrape, crawl, or copy Studuo’s content or data at scale without written permission
• Use the platform for commercial advertising without our prior written consent
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation
• Introduce malware, viruses, or any code designed to disrupt or damage the service
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from our platform

We may remove any content and suspend any account that we determine, at our sole discretion, violates these rules.

Studuo allows you to submit a username, chat messages during study sessions, task list items, and optional feedback. You retain ownership of content you create, but by submitting it you grant Studuo a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store and display it as part of operating the service.

You are solely responsible for the content you submit. Do not share personal information about third parties, confidential material, or anything you do not have the right to share.

All Studuo branding, design, code, and original content are owned by or licensed to Studuo. Nothing in these Terms transfers any intellectual property rights to you. You may not use the Studuo name, logo, or any distinctive trade dress without our prior written permission.

Studuo is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for any particular purpose. Study outcomes are entirely your own responsibility.

Studuo is a free, independently operated study tool. We are not an educational institution and cannot guarantee academic results.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Studuo and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of (or inability to use) the service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of Studuo will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim (which, given Studuo is free, will ordinarily be zero).

Some jurisdictions do not allow exclusion of implied warranties or limitation of liability for consequential damages, so some of the above may not apply to you.

Studuo may contain links to third-party websites or rely on third-party infrastructure (Supabase, Vercel). We are not responsible for the privacy practices, content, or availability of those services. Use them at your own risk.

You may stop using Studuo at any time. You can also delete your account from your Profile page, which permanently removes your data.

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time if you breach these Terms, if we are required to do so by law, or if we decide to shut down the service. We will try to give reasonable notice of any service shutdown.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be communicated to registered users by email where reasonably possible. Continuing to use Studuo after a change means you accept the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes that cannot be resolved informally will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Amsterdam, the Netherlands, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country require otherwise.
